Brandon Group Fitness Classes

HIIT: This class is a full-body workout, ‘rigorous interval training sequence with high-intensity exercises.’  It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance. People are challenged to push to their limits and walk out feeling strong. The class will start at a beginner level, then slowly work through different levels as the group grows their Endurance.

BOOTCAMP: Start your day off with a boost and a sweat in this high intensity cardio-strength class. A variety of equipment – weights, steps, balance balls, kettle bells, ropes – is used to improve cardiovascular fitness and strength. Each class is different and will vary in format to keep you challenged and motivated, so come prepared to lift some dumbbells, work that core and get your heart pumping! 

Zumba: A 60 minute dance class filled with pop and hip hop music that lets you have fun while working out. This is a cardio body weight class that features some fast paced music to get your heart rate up and some slower music that lets us do some leg work and bring the heart rate down. No dance experience needed. 

Barre Blend: A unique total body conditioning workout combining elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga and functional strength training set to upbeat music. Classes focus on posture, balance, stability and core strengthening using balls, weights and bands. 

Yoga Sculpt: This class alternates between yoga flow and hand weights. Boost your metabolism and build lean muscle while breathing through fun and strengthening sequences using dumbbells and or body weight. Leave with a strong mental focus and revived body. All levels welcome. 

Yoga: Flowing postures are linked together using breath. Creative sequencing and dynamic movement allow the body to open, destress, and improve circulation. This class varies in levels of intensity. You will leave feeling invigorated in the body and calm in the mind. All levels are welcome. 

Restorative Yoga: This class is suitable for everyone. Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. With the use of yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters you will be able to hold these postures almost effortlessly. This class will help you to learn why it is important to slow down and embrace the power of rest. 

Piyo: Combines the strengthening benefits of Pilates with the flexibility enhancing effects of yoga. Set to music, this dynamic, energetic program will provide a full-body workout without straining your body.  

Fit For Life: This class uses a combination of strength training, cardiovascular and balance exercises to improve quality of life and functionality. Exercises are low impact to avoid additional strain on joints. All exercises are taught with modifications so that no previous experience is required, and people of all fitness levels are welcome. We use a variety of exercise equipment and every class is different to keep your body challenged and to keep things interesting and fun!
